Tyson is a member of the Manitoba Speed Skating association and member of the percussion section in our Gr. 9 Concert Band. Just last week, Tyson was in Calgary to compete in the CanAm international. Over the three day meet, he was able to achieve 5 PR (personal records) in 6 events.... nothing to sneeze at. As well, after the weekend, he is ranked 13th in the 3000m and 14th in the 1500m in the world for his age group.
How about that? Talk about something pretty cool.
